Creed Catering Supplies restructures for growth in 2009

Following strong and sustained sales growth of 39% in 2008, family-owned Creed Catering Supplies has restructured its management teams to ensure the effective delivery of the company's strategic plan for 2009, and beyond.

The Gloucestershire-based foodservice wholesaler is reporting sales of £30 million for 2008.  Following its acquisition of speciality food company Mise en Place, as well as a new distribution centre in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, Creed Catering continues to perform well in a very difficult financial climate.

The new executive board now comprises Chris Creed - MD, Steve Whiting - Group Finance Director, Philip de Ternant - Operations Director and Karl Goodwin - Sales & Marketing Director.

As well as the board restructure, two new senior sales managers have joined the team.  Tony Williams has been promoted into the new role of Field Sales Manager, with responsibility for the independent sales team, Hannah Jones has recently joined the business as Group Account Manager, working with existing Group Account Managers Nick Brookes and Tim Leadbetter.
